A few samples of sterling and sterling and 14 with pearl earrings from the "Harvest Basket" collection for 2006 All these pieces were sold in 2006. I only make a small number of these every couple of years.
These necklaces, from 2005, were all about the sterling beads. The round focal beads were 2" in diameter, with most having 1" accent beads. Each bead was meticulously fabricated using an assortment of metalsmithing techniques. All were sold.
These are from the "Series Terra" collection. This was my first body of art jewelry pieces and was all done in reticulated sterling with pearl and gemstone accents. It began in 2003 and went through 2004. All art pieces were sold and the collection inspired my first wholesale line sold under my name. The wholesale line has since been sold to Bainbridge Island artist, Lucia Olson who is doing some fun things with it. I plan to come back to back to this work at a later date.
Started designing jewelry as a beader. I spent much of my design time on structural design. This piece was titled "Bonefish Andros" and was made in 2003
This was the second piece of metalsmithing I tried. It was a tremendous challenge and I can't believe I even tried something on this scale with no background in metal. Title "Autumnal Equinox", it was made up of seven 3" sterling leaves that were connected from behind and moved and squeaked like a garden gate in a fall wind. 23k gold leaf was applied to sections of the leaves and they were strung with amber and jet and attached with my own fabricated leaf clasp. This piece has not been sold and will be restrung with larger, roughly tumbled amber and the jet.

In 2007, I did a wonderfully fun collection of earrings and brooches titled "This Magical Journey". I was just beginning to explore creating my own texture plates through an etching process and use them on my new rolling mill. I have since fallen in love with mill printing metal. I think these pieces were good examples of how I began to try to create more depth and texture to my work. I really began to think this journey I began, truly IS magical. All pieces were sold.
In 2008, I challenged myself to once again, my design capabilities and technical skills. I also kept thinking about our continuing journey through life and how interesting mine has been so far. I've come to think that even the greatest tragedies can bring such indescribable happiness and joy in appreciating my good fortune each time I come through the other side still whole, somehow. This collection was called "My Continuing Journey"...as an artist...and a human being. All pieces sold.
